Like most OPUS concerts,  I had no idea what to expect when entering the Gallagher Performing Arts Academy, though I knew I would be in for a treat.

As always, I was not left disappointed as the night was filled with unique New Zealand sounds and beautiful Maori visuals. The music was a combination of technical-modern sounds, classical and traditional Maori folk which told a story that was able to touch the entire audience, even if they did not speak the language.  The singers looked as beautiful as they sounded and I was mesmerised by their technique and passion. The dancers added an element of spice that I had never seen in a concert before but added another fantastic visual for the audience to enjoy.

I felt very honored to be able to witness such a first-class performance right here in Hamilton and I would like the thank the composer, the singers, the dancers and the orchestra for giving us such an unforgettable night.
